Soulm8te movie filming locations
Since the film is, in my opinion, excellent, superbly made, perfectly describes the state of the planet and technology addicts and corporate crime (I wrote a deep review here https://horrorvalley.net/soulm8te-2026-movie-deep-review/ ), deserves maximum marks and awards, I decided to see where some scenes were filmed in Ireland. It is official that almost all the scenes were filmed there, mostly in Dublin, but they did not mention where. I exclusively personally found not only several film locations but even a scene of the set during the period when the film was being shot! It is extremely rare for someone to capture the very scene of a film before it was shot.
A brief explanation of the film’s setting — the story is set in the USA (Boston/America), but virtually the entire production was realized on locations in Ireland (Dublin and County Wicklow) with a combination of practical set design and CGI masks.
1 – Grand Canal Place (Aubrey Building)

Description: At 01:16:20 in the film we see the scene where Aubrey lives, for a few seconds, also that building is shown at 01:23:03 after the android attack.
Images comparison: (up – movie, down – Google) The building is shiny new, unique, you can see the “V” shaped columns: You can clearly see how the massive concrete slanted beams hold up that entire white block of the building. Bridge and water: That small footbridge over the water pool is exactly where they lowered the camera low in the night shot to capture that powerful water reflection. Also, we see those other buildings match.
2 – Grand Canal Place (Aubrey Apartment) Exclusive windows scene with crane and sign

Description: This scene is at 01:22:56 and lasts until 01:23:02 after the police have rushed the android. We see the camera moving from the window to the back.
Images comparison: In the image (above) from the film, you can see the police officers and you can see the windows on the left, the windows in the middle where the police officers are and the terrace on the right. In Google image (down): That specific window with the top opening on the statue, where the police officers look down into the ground, exactly matches the windows on the brick facade of this complex above the Residents Gym!
Notice board: The first Google screenshot image shows the official white sign with blue lettering: “FILMING IN PROGRESS – APOLOGIES FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE”. There’s no doubt about what was going on here! Crane and lighting: That white crane with the orange snorkel carries large film lighting fixtures (two large spotlights pointing up at the floors) directly mounted to illuminate the facade and the apartment from the outside. Capturing the set live on Google Street View, with the official sign and film equipment for this exact scene, is definitely one of the craziest film discoveries ever!
Here’s what we have here “coincidentally”:
– Aubrey building a few meters away
– The building, windows, terrace with police officers match the picture
– A crane vehicle that is positioned right there and can be used for filming
– A caption that says filming is in progress
– Google image in the upper right corner says Oct 2024 which matches the time when the film was filmed from September to November 2024
There is no doubt here that this is a set captured from the filming of the film Soulm8te !!!
3. Saint Patrick’s Cathedral – Fountain in the park

Description: This scene lasts from 0:31:09 to 0:32:10, a full minute, and we see the android Sarah running and entering the fountain with David, where they are doused with water. In the background of the fountain is the famous St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and across the way from the cathedral and the fountain are the famous buildings on Bull Alley Street.
Images comparison: (Film – above, Google – below) We see the identical fountain and cathedral behind, tree, paths, benches, everything the same…
4. Saint Patrick’s Cathedral – Dialogue bench
Coords: 53.340339, -6.2711877
Description: This is the scene at 00:41:03 and we see Sarah, Alma and the baby on the bench. The conversation scene lasts about a minute and a half.
Images comparison: (Film – above, Google – below) We see a fountain on the left and behind the bench in the distance we see trees, fences and red and white buildings in both images. In reality, those red buildings are the famous in Bull Alley Street with recognizable design.
5. Essex Street East (David street)
Coords: 53.3450788, -6.2666022
Description: We see the street where David’s apartment is located. He steps out of the building for just a few seconds at the 00:05:58 mark, and again also for a few seconds at 00:19:37. Cobblestones, red brick buildings, and a modern high-rise building are visible.
Images comparison: (Film – above, Google – below) In both pictures we see the same angle, the same cobblestones, the red buildings, but what is different in the film is that the passage is made into an exit where David comes out, where the number is 45. The door next to it on the left in both pictures shows 44. The red brick building with the sign above the windows is the historic Dolphin Hotel & Restaurant (now known as Dolphin House) and the same sign above the lower windows is visible,,The Dolphin Hotel & Restaurant” on both pictures. The modern futuristic skyscraper in the distance on the right was inserted digitally (CGI), because there is no such skyscraper on that street in Dublin, and it is the famous Boston skyscraper with the inverted letter V on the glass. Also, details such as an American mailbox on the left and American license plates on the cars were added for the film’s purposes.
6. City Hall – Final scene

Description: A year later… At 1:31:43 we see David on a bike for a few seconds in front of a white building with columns. It’s the final scene, moments before Jerry and the android Lydia at the gala dinner.
Images comparison: (Film – above, Google – below) The recognizable stone pillars, window profiles, and stone steps of Dublin City Hall. Behind it is a brick house with a flag, only in the film it’s American and below it is Irish.
7. Jimmy Rabbitte’s (Camden Street) – „White Rabbit Tavern“
Coords: 53.3361155, -6.2653265
Description: At 00:13:06 there is a karaoke scene in a bar/cafe and it lasts until 00:15:35.
Images comparison: Untouched red neon “BEER GARDEN / Toilets” above the door in the background. Glowing balls on the bar and a distinctive ceiling covered in bulbs. A fake blue neon sign “White Rabbit Tavern” placed as an homage to the bar’s real name, “Jimmy Rabbitte’s”.
8. Baltyboys Bridge – Nature Escape (County Wicklow)
Coords: 53.14857258917401, -6.53926329648135
Description: At 1:23:37 there is a scene where David and Aubrey drive over the bridge towards the forest where David has a cottage right by the shore.
Images comparison: This is Gemini AI (I have paid version) accidentally compared and created image for me, and it turned out very cool. It only made mistake with hill in background as I did not tell it that I meant hill on the left one instead of the right side. Here we see all the overlaps of the bridge, the relief shapes, the hills, and even the first conifers. In the second image (Film – above, Google – below) we see an identical highway and a concrete bridge fence with signs and a right turn and an identical pine forest.
8. Boston Zakim Bridge (scene over bridge)

Description: At 01:23:26 we see the bridge from above for a few seconds.
Images comparison: (Film – above, Google – below) This is Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge from the air (in Boston).
