Here is another excellent classic “The Mark of the Vampire” from 1935. The film lasts only an hour, which was typical for that time. That movie (with sound) is as a remake of original lost movie London After Midnight (1927) which was silent movie. A wealthy man is murdered, a professor of occult phenomena is looking for the vampires responsible for his murder. The story and plot are excellent with a good twist. I like the effects the most and old school graveyard scenery that resembles Universal classic monster movies.

Those vintage effects with traditional vampires from graves, those scenes with bare trees, bent fences, fog in the cemetery, bats, spider webs, vampires carrying a candle while walking through the castle, and spiders everywhere and fog, just those extra effects. Already at the beginning of the film there is a scene in a cemetery. I watched the colorized version of the film, in color. Count Mora is played by the famous actor Bela Lugosi, who first played Dracula in the black and white version and set the standard.

There is also colorized version of the movie as well
